DR. DOUG BOISVERT
Raised just outside Boston, Mass. in a Roman Catholic family, Doug was saved (1975) in his college years at University of New Hampshire, where he received a B.S. in Occupational Education. It was through believers living in a visible relationship with Jesus Christ that forced him to realize he was empty inside, and needed to receive Christ. Knowing God desired him to be more actively involved in serving Christ within the local church, he received training in the Word of God at Baptist Bible Seminary, Clark Summit, Pa., completing a Master of Divinity degree. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree through BBS in 2011.
His first full-time ministry was as a church planter in Wilkes-Barre, Pa for 10 years. He was then called to be on pastoral staff at Springville Baptist Church for 4 years. During that ministry, Doug was called and sent out by the Lord and Springville Baptist Church into a specialized ministry in missions with EBM, called Mobile Modular Ministry (or TRI-M). In 2011 EBM closed it’s doors. The Boisverts continued Tri-M Africa Ministry serving under Grace Global Ministry, a ministry under Grace Baptist Church, Ohio from 2011 onward.
Dr. Boisvert was called and sent out by the Lord and Springville Baptist Church in Pennsylvania into a specialized ministry in missions with Grace Global Ministries, called Mobile Modular Ministry (or Tri-M). Doug serves as Tri-M’s Eastern and Central African Director. Doug’s responsibilities center around teaching African Pastors and church leaders right in their own countries in a module setting so they can continue ministering where God has called them to serve Him, while receiving systematic training. The initial goal is to bring the pastors this training to better handle the Word of God. However, Tri-M also seeks to do this in a way that releases them with materials they can immediately use to teach and disciple others in their ministry after Tri-M leaves. So the long-term goal is to assist these men in setting up their own training program that fits the needs and situations of their countries.
