Dear Praying Friends,
We trust you were able to continue celebrating Christ during these holi-day season of Thanksgiving and remembering Christ's first coming to show us God, and to die in our place.
We do want to let you know that with the New Year, the travel once again begins. Doug leaves this Friday for an exciting time of graduations in Tanzania. One graduation is at a new place that the Tanzanians themselves have done all the teaching up until this week! They are spreading out and planning on continuing the training concept of TRI-M in many villages settings throughout Tanzania. The Tanzanian Leaders requested Doug's presence at both graduations to show TRI-M's approval of these training sites and methods. This seems to be our "fading out" of regular teaching in Tanzania as the Tanzanians assume much of the responsibilities even opening new venues at their fellow Pastors' requests.
So please join us in prayer for
1) safe and timely travel - especially to a new village area for Doug.
2) The graduates will use their training to stay true to God's Word and disciple others, especially Church-Planters to send out trained and grounded in truth.
3) Wisdom for Tanzanian Leaders and Doug as they discuss the Tanzanian's plans and expansion of this training throughout Tanzania.
Please also pray for TRI-M Annual Meeting that will be going on 11-16 January. The Boisverts are not able to attend because of the scheduling conflict with this crucial Tanzanian teaching trip. However many significant decisions are being discussed and decided upon for the future of TRI-M. Please pray for God to bring each member together under the mind of Christ and sense His clear leading.
Striving to Serve Christ,
Doug Boisvert, D. Min.
